Enjoy cool clear West Texas mornings, and spectacular sunsets on the arbor covered patio surrounded by aromatic herb plants and rare mountain views. The Patio, with it's associated, fully-equipped kitchen, is available for use as a flow for large functions, or perfect for accommodating smaller, more intimate affairs.
	Guests of the motel are welcome to relax by the small fountain and enjoy the lush native plants and the cool clear West Texas mornings or spectacular mountain views and sunsets.
Since the patio and associated kitchen are available for exclusive use after normal business hours for an additional fee, guests of the motel are welcome to enjoy the patio area unless it is being used for a private engagement. The kitchen facilities are only available for related group functions and not for individual use.

	Completed in 2002, the Marathon Motel's Southwestern style courtyard, built entirely of mud and Adobe bricks, boasts a fire pit, covered fireplace, water fall, dance floor, and piped in music. Perfect for weddings, functions, or just taking it easy while enjoying the best views and sunsets West Texas has to offer.
	The motel's adobe courtyard is available to all guests. A wonderful spot to spend an evening under the stars. With steaks sizzling on the pit, there's no better way to enjoy the beautiful West Texas nights. The courtyard is host to weddings, BBQs, and other events.
